Nail & Skin Care
When it comes to self care, skin and nail care go together. When one becomes stressed, one finds herself picking her nails and her face also breaks out caused from the stress/anxiety.
Mental health is expected and crucially important part of life and should be used for everything or something else will unbalance the chemicals in the brain from lack of one area not being treated fairly as it should be treated with.
Through all the years I’ve been through with finding a solution to getting out of picking my nails, I’ve had been using my solution since late September last year (2015) and since then, came across a hardship/relapse. In which turned my beautiful nails (which were longer as of September 10th when I spent the day with friends in Milton and wasn’t till the next weekend on Saturday when it happened.
Lost control (part was caused from the lack of grey matter in my brain from my depression relapse) and gained back the urge to pick not 100% but more and unable to gain control from what I was lacking to have control. But since, I’ve been trying to not overthink about that day and how my nails went from so beautiful to shorter and some in pain from being picked too short.
It’s a process and I’m still trusting it as well as my long journey in my depression relapse recovery. I’m struggling in some mental areas and would love some mental health tips, advice, suggestions, new methods, etc to help me be more mentally better than I’ve been even before my relapse came.
